Pearled Sorghum Grain Summer Salad
Gluten Free Recipe
- 7 cups cooked Nu Life Market’s Pearled Sorghum Grain
- ½ cup Red onion, diced
- 1 cup Broccoli
- 1 cup Cucumber, diced
- ½ cup Red Pepper, diced
- ½ cup Soy Free Mayonnaise
- 2 tsps Red Wine Vinegar
- 1 tbsp Pickle Relish
- ½ tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Pepper
- ½ tsp Sugar
In a large bowl mix together Nu Life Market’s Pearled Sorghum Grain, red onion, broccoli, cucumber, and red pepper; set aside. Whisk together mayonnaise, vinegar, pickle relish, salt, pepper, and sugar in a small bowl. Pour the dressing over the Pearled Sorghum Grain mixture and stir until well combined. Refrigerate and serve cold.

How to Cook Our Pearled Sorghum Grain
Combine ½ cup of pearled grain sorghum with 1½ cups of water in a glass bowl. Place in microwave on HIGH for 14 to 16 minutes or until desired texture is reached. Stir once halfway through cook time. Drain and rinse with cool water. (Cook time based on 1200 watt microwave. Adjust time as needed based on wattage of your microwave.)
Store in sealed container in a cool, dry place for up to one year.
